Wind Speed and Direction

Displays wind speed, wind direction and highest gusts in mph and kph. Wind direction is clearly visible on LED’s. Wind speed is self-powered by rooftop sensor; LED’s run off household power pack. Highest gusts are saved on our unique Gust Register, featured on both Maestro and Vigilant instruments. With Gust Register, you can monitor highest gusts even when you missed the actual wind blast. Cables, AC adapter, sensors and mounting hardware supplied. Brass, chrome or satin nickel casing. Silver or black dial. Merlin with black dial housed in a solid brass, chrome or satin nickel casing. A digital instrument with a "brain" to record changes and trends as well as present wind conditions. Peak gives speed and direction of highest gust since last reset. Average reveals average wind speed and direction since last reset. Forecast compares most recent 12-minute average with previous 12 minutes. Features user-selectable units of measurement (MPH, Knots, km/h or m/s) and can interface with Mystic to compute wind-chill. A 10-year backup to preserve stored data protects Merlin's memory. Ships complete with 60' sensor cable, AC adapter, outdoor sensors and mounting hardware.

Indoor/Outdoor Thermometers

Remote-reading thermometer with memory that stores high and low readings since your last reset. Features dual scale (Fahrenheit and Celsius) and temperature minder to let you dial in current temperature and note any change. AC adapter, sensor and cable supplied. Brass, chrome or satin nickel casing. Silver or black dial. Mystic with black aluminum dial, housed in a solid brass, chrome or satin nickel casing. Digitally displays both barometer readings and temperature in four different modes: Present, High, Low, and Rate of Change for barometric pressure, which shows the amount of change in inches per hour. When connected to Merlin, the Wind Chill setting will show the effect of wind speed on temperature. Features user-selectable units of measurement for temperature (°­C,°F) and barometric pressure (inHg, mmHg). A 10-year backup to handle power outages and preserve stored data protects mystic. Rainfall/Precipitation

Rainwatch with brushed aluminum dial or matte black with white numerals, housed in a solid brass, chrome or satin nickel case. An attractive companion to any instrument (digital or analog), Rainwatch displays either long or short-term rainfall with the flip of a switch. Select the length of time for each 'counter' with the reset switch. Collect annual rainfall in one memory, and weekly or daily rainfall in the other. 4-digit LED panel displays rainfall from .01" to 99.99" with an inch/cm conversion chart. A single 9V battery (not included) will collect and maintain data for up to 1 week in case of power failure. Outside rainfall collector meets NWS specifications for size and accuracy, and is self-emptying for your convenience. Rainwatch is also compatible with most other rainfall collectors. Wireless Receiver

Wireless Receiver is necessary for wireless versions of any instrument. Receiver is sold seperately.
One 900mhz receiver is required at each wireless instrument location. A single receiver can collect transmissions from as many transmitters as your system includes. That is, one receiver will serve all wind, temperature and rainfall transmitters within a 300' radius.
